5. LAW OF COMPETITION-COOPERATION

Organisms of one or more species occupying the same site over a given period of time, use (and frequently reuse) the same resources through various sharing processes which allow a greater portion to the most efficient.

Trees and birds and insects may
Share, through time, the same locale.
These insects, birds and trees, as they make their way,
Share use of the resources at their disposal.
They compete and cooperate,
Nature's store to assimilate.
And though you may think that it's unfair,
The lion ends up with the lion's share.
